This maple branch, morphed into a small visual treasure through the wear of time, became a worthy element for this piece. Hamadryad, a tree nymph, right out of the fascinating world of Greek mythology, is said to be born bonded to it's host. This mixed media application is composed of leather, polypores and a maple branch, these gifts of nature inspired this chimerical arrangement.
